Data collected

Overload Trainer collects the following data when you use the app :

  • Profile information : first name, training goal, frequency, equipment
  • Workout data : sessions, exercises, sets, weight, reps, progression history
  • Authentication data : email address and provider identifier (Google or Apple)
  • App preferences : language, theme, measurement units

Data usage

Your data supports the following uses and the services described below :

  • Generating and adapting your training program
  • Tracking your progress and calculating progressive overload
  • Syncing your data between devices

We do not sell your data. We use service providers for authentication, subscriptions, hosting, and technical monitoring. Their processing is described below.

In-App Purchases

RevenueCat manages subscriptions and purchase restoration. We send it your account ID to link purchases and access rights to your account. Purchase and subscription information is therefore linked to your account and is not anonymous.

Analytics

We use Sentry to diagnose errors and measure performance. Sentry receives technical information about the app, device, navigation, and errors. Some sessions include interaction replays, with text and input fields masked by default. We do not describe these diagnostics as anonymous.

Authentication and signup notifications

Google or Apple handles sign-in and provides us with an account ID and, depending on your choices, your name and email address. When signup notifications are enabled, a notification containing the name, email address, sign-in provider, and signup date is sent to our team through Telegram.

Storage and security

Your data is securely stored on hosted servers. Session data is also stored locally on your device for offline access. Communications are encrypted via HTTPS.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings (Profile → Preferences → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
